About

  • At Aegis Foundry, our mission is to provide a unique blend of outsourced strategic and operational services that help businesses build, operate, and grow.

We achieve this mission by building business solutions for small and midsize businesses that take on the “heavy lifting” of running the company day-to-day, allowing our clients and their employees to focus on their organization's success and core responsibilities.

Founded in 1996 (as Marvin Technology Company), Aegis Foundry has been supporting and improving businesses for 25+ years and today serves more than 150 clients across North America and Europe. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, we have around 30 employees.

  • Pronounced ee·juhs, the word Aegis comes from Greek mythology and refers to a shield that protected Zeus. In modern terminology, Aegis is used as “doing something under the protection of a powerful, knowledgeable source.” We felt this was a perfect metaphor for working with our clients. We want each client to thrive under Aegis as we provide protection and guidance in the form of knowledge and know-how.

  • Service: Our entire company (people, platform, and processes) are set up to provide optimal service to our clients; we are earnest about being your partner.

Speed: We understand the critical nature of responsive pivots and rapid solutions in today’s market and know how to deliver efficiently and on time.

Value: We want to be your partner for the long term, and we understand the importance of high quality at a fair price.

Expertise: We have been doing this for a long time across many industries; it is very little we haven’t seen or done, and we strive to transfer that knowledge and experience to each client.
