Entrepreneur, visionary, futurist and speaker on trends in technology and business, Brian Marvin has two decades of experience as an Information Technology consultant, technology strategist and business advisor. He specializes in technology and marketing execution that helps clients grow their businesses while creating simple solutions to complex business problems.
Brian has extensive experience in SQL, ETL, SharePoint, business intelligence, systems and network automation, virtualization, cloud solutions, project management, point of sale, back office and general information systems. Brian has consulted for companies ranging from insurance, professional practices, manufacturing, and hospitality and restaurant franchises.
He recently developed a franchise intranet, franchise management system and business intelligence portal connecting franchisors and franchisees in a unique and customizable manner. He has designed virtual cloud hosting environments geared for small and medium-sized businesses. His firm also designs websites, maintains social media and brand awareness, measures social media effectiveness, and manages email marketing platforms. Ultimately, AEGIS Foundry develops cost-effective IT systems for small to medium-sized companies.
Hallett Johnson, Principal, COO and GM

Hallett Johnson is a highly experienced marketing and operations executive whose primary focus is to combine core competencies in traditional marketing and communications with innovative applications through the use of the new marketing technologies and social media. He has 30 years of business experience with particular expertise in publishing and consumer marketing, strategic planning, new business development, direct response marketing/database mining, and Internet marketing and web development.
He spent nearly a decade with Time-Life Books, first in a business and a strategic planning capacity, then ascending to the position of Vice President, Marketing Services. In 1990, he became Vice President, Consumer Marketing at Southern Progress Corporation (another Time Warner subsidiary), where he was responsible for circulation management of all magazines including Southern Living, Cooking Light, Health and Sunset, as well as overseeing new business development and franchise enhancement. In that capacity, he founded and launched Coastal Living magazine. He joined Oxmoor House in 1999 as Vice President, Publisher and General Manager. In 2001, he became CEO of AnythingSouthern.com and then principal of J3 Media. He joined Harvard Business School Publishing in 2003 as Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing the marketing strategy of all HBSP product lines, integrating consumer and web marketing, and expanding the reach of HBSP content into global markets. In 2008, he left Harvard to continue his consulting, where he is recognized as a new type of executive who has digital savvy and strong analytical skills, with the capability of coordinating a variety of operating, marketing and customer-facing activities.
He has a BA in Architecture from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University.
